A 1927 Mercedes-Benz Model K shown by Michael and Joannie Rich, was chosen as this year’s Best in Show at the 25th annual Greenwich Concours d’Elegance.

The 2021 sponsored by Hagerty began with a changed up program. The new program changed the weekend lineup with a Porschella featuring a variety of Porsches from different decades. This years Greenwich Concours d’Elegance’s weekend program no longer had the American made on Saturday and Foreign on Sunday. Saturday did include the always fun Concours d’Lemons and Radwood favorites from the ’80s and ’90s.

There was a great effort to make it a more family friendly event with the inclusion of the slot car competitions, Hagerty Youth Programs and ride and drives. There were quite a few young car enthusiasts which was helped by the added attraction format for younger imaginations to be kept entertained.

This year the domestic and international marques were celebrated on Sunday at the 25th Annual Concours d’Elegance. This was a change in the weekend lineup that in previous years featured domestic on Saturday and international on Sunday.

An off-road class included a number of Willys, Broncos, Dodge Power Wagons, and Land Rovers as well as the Baja Boot and its modern counterpart, the Glickenhaus Boot.

This year’s special classes included Ford vs. GM, Lancia, 100 Years of Duesenberg, Right Coast Rods, Allards and SUV classes. The 2021 featured Indian and MotoGuzzi motorcycle classes.

The 2021 Greenwich was cooler than usual as it was in the New England fall season due to postponement but just as successful. It will switch back to the summer schedule for the 2022 Greenwich Concour d’Elegance so set your calendars for June 3rd-5th, 2022.
