On Wednesday, June 24, 2026 Sammy Hagar joined forces in a tour de force with Rick Springfield as his lead in to give the audience at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA a concert to remember. Not only did Springfield open Hagar took the stage during Springfields set and vice versa to make it a winning combination. That and the fact that Joe Satriani, Mark Anthony and Kenny Arnoff were in attendance made the night that much more special. It was hard to tell where one fantastic band ended and the next began. The night ran together like a mixed drink in Cabo. Hagar even decided to share the libations for real with the audience when he bent down during Mas Tequila and started pouring shots in cups and sharing them with the audience in the front rows.
As Van Halen’s lead singer for many years his Hagar’s concerts features a mix of his solo hits, Van Halen classics, and deep cuts from Montrose and Chickenfoot. All well received by the audience. There was a song for every taste in each band Hagar was a part of.

Springfield set the bar high from the beginning as the lead in after the opener and was a very tough act to follow. The Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar chose just the perfect combination for his lead in band when he signed on Rick Springfield to join him on his Best of All Worlds tour. Hagar came onstage during Springfields’ set to cheers from the audience. His appearance just revved up the audience more with anticipation.

The name of Sammy Hagar’s Best of All Worlds tour comes with a lot of expectations.
This summer, he’s been delivering on that promise and even putting in a bit of extra firepower, thanks to special guest Rick Springfield, who opened the first half of the Red Rocker’s tour dates.
The result is a night that’s been loaded to the brim with big chart hits and rock radio favorites that are guaranteed to send each fan home with more than just a few songs to add to their playlists.

The impressive collective of talent there was no way it was not going to be an outstanding show from start to finish. The audience was completely into the concert from start to finish. With talet this fine there was a chance for each of the band members to shine and show their talents. Joe Satriani on guitar had the audience eating out of his hand every time he walked to center stage and played a short solo riff during some songs.

As the ’80s heartthrob was shredding a bouquet of roses across his guitar (one of his signature moves, as longtime fans will know), Hagar came walking out and presented him with a toast, celebrating the end of their current dates together. He then grabbed a microphone and joined in on the vocals.

Springfield has fond memories of his early days getting to know Hagar, who was very pleased with the big success Rick had with his 1981 version of “I’ve Done Everything for You.”
If you get the opportunity to take in this concert tour in 2026 don’t hesitate. It’s a night of fun, great music and memories of a time gone by when the music never stopped rocking.
